The Hidden Dog Illusion
The art of blending into a background. This demonstration illustrates the basic principle of Camouflage.
There is a cute dog hidden in the picture above. Can you find it? It is very hard to find because the background pattern is made up of random elements very similar to the dog. The dog in the foreground is camouflaged by its similarity to the background pattern.
There are two ways to make the dog easier to see. First, make the dog run around by clicking Use your mouse on the background to make the dog run faster or slower. Click STOP to stop the dog. You can also click SHOW to remove the background entirely.
